Oscars 2018

Mi entrada de turno sobre la gala de los Oscars. La novedad es que este año paso de hablar de polémicas. Básicamente porque de eso se encargó Jimmy Kimmel en su discurso de apertura y así no se dedicaron a repetirse sobre un mismo tema una y otra vez, como solía suceder.

De hecho la novedad este año ha sido rizar el rizo con lo de limitar el tiempo de los discursos de agradecimiento picándoles a ver quien lo hace más rápido prometiendo una moto de agua y unas vacaciones en un lago.

Al ser el 90º aniversario han incluido montajes de películas clásicas con escenas de actores y actrices que habían ganado una estatuilla en pasadas ediciones. Además de uno sobre la historia del cine en el que han hecho un gran trabajo mostrando escenas memorables de todo tipo de películas y otro sobre películas de soldados presentado por un veterano.

En el apartado más negativo tenemos las canciones. En directo han dejado mucho que desear, y particularmente la de "Coco" es de vergüenza ajena (aunque ha sido la ganadora).

Lo más destacable de la noche ha sido el momento en que Kimmel se ha llevado a unos cuantos directores y actores a un cine cercano y se han puesto a repartir comida entre los espectadores por sorpresa.

Y lo más marciano ha sido el discurso de la ganadora a mejor actriz, pero no por lo que ha dicho sino porque parecía que iba puesta hasta las cejas de algún producto psicotrópico.

Personalmente sólo me he alegrado por el que se ha llevado la película chilena, el del corto de Kobe Bryan y los de "Blade Runner 2049".

Ordenadas por número de premios ganados:

4 - "The Shape of Water": la gran favorita con 13 nominaciones. Aunque se ha llevado algunos de los más importantes como Película y Director.
3 - "Dunkirk": en mi opinión han sido demasiado generosos, tenía 8 nominaciones.
2 - "Blade Runner 2049": y en este caso han sido muy rácanos, pero no me quejo, 2 de los 5 posibles está mejor de lo que anticipaba.
2 - "Coco": los dos  a los que estaba nominada.
2 - "Darkest Hour": esta tenía 6 nominaciones pero se ha llevado el de Mejor Actor.
2 - "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri": esta me ha sorprendido, ha ganado dos de los buenos además, Actor de Reparto y Actriz.
